Beanstalk feature tour highlights

I really like these pop-up highlights on theĀ Beanstalk App feature tour. Though I didn’t notice them at first (perhaps they ought to have a background of yellow or something more eye catching?).

I’m keen on using this kind of call to attention in my online portfolio.

Mac OS X search lights the way

Mac OS X has a great search highlight feature. While typing in the search bar, the possible paths to what I’m looking for are highlighted. The spot light becomes more defined and bright with every keystroke, eliminating options as I go.

This is the kind of thing I take for granted. Windows XP doesn’t offer anything like this, I’m doubtful that Vista can do this either.
