Sketches app stickies navigation
Nice! I love stickies. And I love sketching. Sketches app is for the iPhone (which I must buy soon). Their web site sports a clever sticky note navigation. The tabs pop up and out when you hover over them. Loving it!

Send your suggestions, questions or UI scraps to me, I’d love to hear from you.
Thanks for visiting!
Is so hot! I love colorful things. This is a very colorful thing, and so I love it very much. Regardless of how useful it is, I am drawn to use it.
That is all at this time. Back to this news web site.
UX Booth does a great job at providing useful back to top links. Most often, these links are hard to spot. Which in turn makes me less likely to use them, even if they are available.
But the round tab sticking out the side of the content on this page begs to be clicked. I almost want to go the top of the page now. It’s subtle, so not to distract, but it’s not invisible, so it’s easier to spot, and therefore to use.
Get Satisfaction drops a hint to get their members involved with their site. They ask “Who do you work for?” in their navigation. The power of suggestion is a force to be reckoned with.
Although the primary perk of this scrap is rooted in a great user experience, the implementation in the navigation is a unique interface design.
This thoughtful note planted a seed in my mind. If I ever need a web-based customer service app, I’ll be sure to try Get Satisfaction.
The Vimeo UI is good, that’s a gross understatement. First, while hovering on the navigation links, the hot spots are ample, making it super easy to use them.
Second, the content they reveal adds value and informs. Hovering over the green Join tab shows the site value proposition. Hover over the search bar, and the different modes of searching are shown. Excelent work.
Walgreen’s navigation design could use some love. Yikes! Could they cram any more tabs in there? There is of course the view more option.
This is cluttered but I wonder if it works? I was looking for the Store Locator, and I found it. So I’m not sure how I’d improve it. Although it’s hideous, it worked for me.
