Virb welcome page

Confirm the action, and explain how to restore it. Well done, Virb. Enough said Apparently I posted this with the wrong image. The image says: “Are you sure you want to hide your welcome page? You can always show this page again by going to your login settings.”

Also, I’ll be posting more frequently. I switched browsers (from Firefox to Safari) about a month ago. I forgot to add the Tumblr bookmarklet to my Safari toolbar, thereby totally forgetting about this blog. Whoopsie-daisy!

Facebook gives fair warning

Facebook gives me the option to “Always do this for Notes.” Upon checking, the warning “You will not see this dialog again for Notes” is shown.

This is great, because it explains the implications of leaving this box checked. This warning is shown only when it’s checked, so it’s not unnecessarily cluttering the UI.

What they could do to improve this, would be to let me know where to change this back. “Undo in preference” would be helpful.

iTunes volume warning

iTunes let’s me know my volume is turned all the way down. At the moment, I knew this was true. However, if I didn’t know it, this warning might avert thinking something is broken, since my system volume might indicate the volume is turned up. Good thinking.
